continuing with franny and zooey, here’s zooey. zoeey is 25 and the second youngest of the glass children. he often battles with self identity and blames this on his older siblings who exposed him to philosophy at an early age. as a result of this exposure, zooey believes he’ll never be able to look at humanity quite like everybody else. aside from his resentment, he’s described as the most handsome of the glass children and seems to have a real negative/almost devil may care attitude about life. who could blame him? 1: i hate people: shirt by trussardi 1911, jeans by c.p. company, boots by band of outsiders, coat by trussardi 19112: they’re the worst: coat and scarf by c.p. company, shirt by band of outsiders, sweats by michael bastian, vintage shoes3: mom, get out of the bathroom: scarf, shirt and vest by gant by michael bastian, pants by richard chai, shoes by john varvatos

now that the milan/paris mens shows have ended i must wait until fashion week rolls on elsewhere. i must say i was pleasantly surprised this season, lots of color, lots of desirability and plenty of wearable pieces. seems like the houses really took a step forward, perhaps they realized that in this economy product must be absolutely irresistible. and with the exception of dsquared2’s ridiculous devil angel costume most products were. so i popped together a few of my favorite things and styled them up right nice. here’s hoping they become realities.1: everyday getup: 2 tone v-neck by trussardi 1911, sweater by salvatore ferragamo, jacket by c.p. company, jeans by balmain, boots by louis vuitton2: a little dressed up: shirt by prada, sweater by agnes b, coat by ferragamo, pants by dries van noten, shoes by agnes b3: up north/in the country: hooded button front by c.p. company (with a hanes t-shirt underneath, duh), jeans by balmain (i love balmain and i love jeans, so what, who cares), coat by agnes b, boots by dolce & gabbana

    trussardi 1911 a/w 2010
thoughts: whoa nelly, love this stuff. i have to say i’ve never really payed much attention to trussardi but this collection really peaked my interest. the understated fring shown in look 1 is pretty boss and would be a nice pick me up to some more drab clothes. not really a fan of the sneakers in 2 and 3 but i love the coat, shirt and tie. but the coat with the detailing on the wrists is freaking incredible. the outerwear coming out of milan is truly outrageously awesome and i’m seeing fur collars pretty much everywhere. at this point the trussardi coat is at the number 1 spot.
