since you guys seemed to enjoy bellatrix, let’s have a go at another favorite character-fleur delacour. we first meet fleur when she’s competing in the tri-wizard tournament at hogwarts as the beauxbatons champion. she was supposedly one of the most beautiful girls, like ever. being part veela, she attracted pretty much every guy at hogwarts especially ron. at first, fleur was annoyed with harry and ron but after harry saves her sister’s life, she comes around. she sticks around as ron’s sister-in-law after marrying his brother bill and aids in the fight against voldemort. all around, a stand up part veela kick ass witch. good for her. go fleur.

scarlett o’hara, the scourge of my childhood.  gone with the wind played frequently in our house growing up, thanks to my mother who has an affection for epic romances and period pieces.  despite my best efforts to avoid this film, i caught snippets of it here and there and pieced together the whole story.  i always found scarlett pretty funny, her crazy antics never failed to amuse me…particularly when she’s being her melodramatic self and chasing after men.  scarlett was quite manipulative from what i can tell, she used others around her and lied about her feeling for friends, family and others.  ms. o’hara was also obsessed with her appearance and status, noted by her waistline concerns and sadness when she couldn’t attend social functions.  as the story unfolds, she becomes calculating and rather tragiv.  however, all her scheming gets her just what she deserves though and who could forget that amazing line, “frankly my dear, i don’t give a damn.”  scarlett lands back where she belongs at her crazy plantation, tara to bring it back to it’s glory days.1: chillin’ at 12 oaks: dress by tracy reese, shoes by prada, hat by oscar de la renta, necklace by kate spade new york2: rhett, i need some cash: dress by isaac mizrahi (not made of curtains), shoes by michael kors3: “after all, tomorrow is another day”—back to tara: shirt by marni, overalls by ralph lauren, scarf by marni, boots by tory burch
