WHAT WOULD LISBETH SALANDER WEAR?

Happy new year to you guys. Over my long, actually, very long break, I went and saw The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. It was certainly worth my $9.50 and if you’ve seen it you’ll understand what I mean when I say it affected me long after I left the theater. Sheesh. For those unfamiliar, the story is all about a journalist and a hacker/investigator who uncover a grizzly history of serial killings and seek revenge upon a .01 percenter. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it and if you haven’t read it you probably should. While watching it, I thought Lisbeth would make a great character post and many people have requested her, so here you go. Of course, in reality (fiction reality?) Lisbeth probably wouldn’t care.

i mean…who doesn’t love luna lovegood. she’s so fly, she’s so cool and she has charms that keep away the nargles.
QUIBBLER!
1: quibbler anyone? skirt by peter jensen, top by marc jacobs, shoes and bag by diane von furstenberg
2: you’re just as sane as i am: dress by rachel comey, shoes by rodarte, fanny pack by diane von furstenberg
3: slug club partaaay: dress by karen walker, top by peter som, shoes by rag and bone
peter jensen was so good. i love me some color on the runways and some easy breezy pieces. the shoes were killer, very willy wonka goes colorblocking. the whole collection screamed luna lovegood so maybe she’s do for another post. whoop.

phoebe caulfield is a strong part of her brother holden’s life. she represents the innocent type that he so longs to protect from the world. she, in her youth and demeanor is the catch the catcher in the rye is trying to save…if that makes any sense. phoebe is portrayed as a wise and mature kid. you can tell she’d be one of those completely cool characters and very little in life would rattle her. upon growing older, i’m willing to bet she’d sort of steer clear of the fashion scene and would be a roll with the punches type. the collegiate vibe going on this fall would suit her quite well.
