JACK SPADE X COCA COLA
By now, you probably know that I’m a big fan of Jack Spade. I’d wager to say that most of my wardrobe is from there and although a hefty amount of that came from when I worked there, I’m still pretty loyal.
Another brand I’m loyal to? Coca-cola, because this is America and I am an American. True, I may fancy a Pepsi every now and then but you can’t have a burger without a Coke and you definitely can’t have a steak sandwich from La Esquina without one, blasphemy.
So today, when I heard the 2 had joined forces to celebrate Coca-Cola’s 125th anniversary, I was stoked. The pieces I’m most excited for? The hat, the tote, the iphone case and the t-shirt. Will I look like a Jack Spade x Coca-Cola evangelist? Yes. Do I care? Yes, because I love them both.
You can look at the rest of the collab on the newly redesigned (lookin’ good) Jack Spade website.
Here’s more crap that I want:
Yuketens, Jack Spade Stuff, Some other Stuff, and the Post Index.
Opening Ceremony and Disney collaborated on some pieces to celebrate the release of Tron.
Killer boots man! $395.00 at your local O.C. or on the web.
p.s. today’s harry potter post is coming up this afternoon
LANVIN LOVES H&M

So, yesterday I had the opportunity to check out the Lanvin <3 H&M collection. Honestly, we’ve all seen these collabs before and you can never be too sure if it’s going to be a success. Oftentimes a designer’s DNA is restricted when working with any mass retailer and you don’t get a true representation. I don’t think anybody could say that about Lanvin’s work with H&M. It’s everything you’d expect from Alber Elbaz, pushing silhouettes and playful use of ruffles all while maintaining that “if you fuck with me, i will kill you with my eyes look,” which is my favorite. There’s really no denying it’s Lanvin and courtesy of the prices, there’s no denying it’s H&M. Smashingly awesome. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a few of these pieces pop up on Textbook soon either.
The collab will be available in about 200 stores nation-wide on November 20 and no doubt they’ll be lines out the door.
