PNEUMONIA WHITE, WORTH THE READ
I heard about Pneumonia White a few weeks ago through e-mail. It’s a pretty sick personal style blog from L.A. The photography is weird, the writing is spooky but it’s all in a good way. Not to mention she dresses in some serious designers. According to her bio, she lives in “Secret Hollywood” and is currently taking up residence in an old house in Bel Air, left to her by her grandmother. If you’ve got some time, check it out.
Earlier this week I posted about Backyard Bill and promised I’d share some of my favorites, having recently redone my links page. That said, I’d like to introduce you to Nova Style by Jillian Hobbs. I first met Jillian randomly over some noodles in Nolita and was started to check out her blog. She manages to find images and editorials I don’t see anywhere else on the web—not even on tumblr. Aside from the content, the layout is so inviting, clean and easy. There’s nothing worse than a blog with a terrible layout, blech. Take a look at Nova Style, add it your RSS and give her a follow here on tumblr as well.

and just like that we are shocked back into our routines for the remainder of 2010. with monday comes work but also blogger friend monday. on the heels of my recent exploits in connecticut i give you fantastic man (again). this magazine saved me quite a few times when boredom threatened to destroy the very fabric of my existence. lo and behold they have a website which has recently been revamped. fantasticman.com offers daily suggestions on how to better your life each weekday, quite the feat. i’m not suggesting you follow them all but if nothing else they will provide entertainment for all.
