BLOGGER FRIEND MONDAY
Wow, I haven’t done Blogger Friend Monday in AGES but I’m gonna bring it right back. It’s tough to find good tumblrs out there so let me direct you to my friend Suz’s. It’s pretty solid, lots of fun images and random shit always worth a re-blog or at least a like. C’mon kids, follow up—you won’t be sorry!

oh hey, it’s blogger friend monday. with this late entry, i’d like to introduce you to p.s. i made this. it’s run by none other than the lovely erica domesek. she’ll take stuff from the runway (ie proenza spring 2010) and show you how to d-i-y it to death. stuff turns out real good…hoping she’ll hear my plea for those lanvin sandals and show me how to take my birkenstocks from high school and whip them into shape. follow her up, she’s legit.

bfm 2!: i first came upon mordechai rubenstein’s blog mister mort at the advice of a colleague and pretty much spent that whole day wandering the site. similar to backyard bill, there is a lot of quality here as opposed to blogging with no purpose. i do appreciate a unique view on men’s style as so many are regurgitated opinions of scott schuman and mister mort delivers. not to mention his occasional use of yiddish makes me feel like i’m back at school (graduate of a predominantly jewish college, go muhlenberg).

and if you tweet, do not miss his (rather hilarious…particularly anything #manfail)

a very happy martin luther king day to you all! as promised, here is a double installment of blogger friend monday. my first bfm is backyard bill. why? well, there are so many blogs out there today that just throw a schizophrenic stream of stuff at you and you inevitably end up seeing a lot of crossover. for better or worse, i believe in quality not quantity and the posts showcased at backyard bill are often far superior to others. the photography is brilliant and the interviews (with the extremely interesting) are short and sweet, what more could you ask for?

and much thanks to amanda mooney for turning me on to this blog!
and just like that we are shocked back into our routines for the remainder of 2010. with monday comes work but also blogger friend monday. on the heels of my recent exploits in connecticut i give you fantastic man (again). this magazine saved me quite a few times when boredom threatened to destroy the very fabric of my existence. lo and behold they have a website which has recently been revamped. fantasticman.com offers daily suggestions on how to better your life each weekday, quite the feat. i’m not suggesting you follow them all but if nothing else they will provide entertainment for all.
