so my week in paradise has officially ended. we landed in new york yesterday and although i’m happy to be home with this lovely spring weather, i can’t help but miss anguilla. all you have to do is watch the above video to understand why.
i think the highlight of the trip (with our good friends, the corbetts) were the cays. there are several tiny islands off smack dab in the caribbean that are home to a single restaurant, a few lounge chairs and palm trees. we’d take a boat out to each one for lunch and then just laze around, nothing quite like it anywhere else. aside from that, our house was amazing and the food (mostly chicken, ribs and lobster) was incredible. oh well, back to reality…at least i have this video to remember it and of course vampire weekend’s horchata.

we will return to regularly scheduled programming tomorrow, thank you.
some more scenes from anguilla, including a giant chicken and lobster lunch. probably the best day of my life.

shaky video from our first day in anguilla. a blustery jfk (which i’m now learning we were lucky to escape) to a veritable paradise. sorry it’s so shaky.
