VOLVO OCEAN RACE PRIZE GIVING IN 30 POINTS
The rambling city of Sao Paulo is long gone now and we’re in Itajai for the Volvo Ocean Race stopover. Our first stop was the prize giving at some swanky joint.

The sails on the Puma boat, lovingly named Mar Mostro, meaning sea monster. Climbed aboard today for a rather low tempered but fun race against 2 well designed boats and one boat that looked like a craft project. I hate when people fall short on design. Anyway, I digress, more on this to come. So far this trip with Puma has been exactly as planned—we’ve learned so much about Brazilian culture (especially food, well, maybe especially for me only) and the people of Sao Paulo and Itajai.
PUMA SHOE MOSAIC
We just landed in Navengantes and are getting closer and closer to the Volvo Ocean classic in Itejai. Meanwhile, we visited the Puma store before we left and I was reunited with my long-lost favorite sneakers from my youth. The Puma Suedes in blue, my feet are home.

We left Sao Paulo yesterday and are near Itejai for the race. We’re staying in Balneário Camboriú for the remainder of the trip. Here’s a quick shot of the beach from earlier this morning. Plenty more to come, wish us luck in the ProAm race. Go team Puma.
