This past Sunday, a friend and I stopped by the 3.1 Phillip Lim store as we often do. We looked at everything, added some things to our wish lists and headed out. I started discussing that Phillip Lim a tad under-appreciated in New York. If you happen to pass the Mercer St. store, go ahead in and look at everything you can, you’ll appreciate his keen eye for detail—particularly on the womenswear. Of course, this piece is on his menswear but it’s absolutely worth the look and was made to celebrate Mr. Lim’s recent CFDA Award Nomination for Menswear Designer of the year. Enjoy.
