rebeccalando asked about boat shoes, where to get them and who to get them from. she mentioned sperry, bass and keds as familiar brands. all good stand bys when it comes to boat shoes. j.crew has done some great things with sperry for spring/summer and i’ve seen a few of the metallic ones on the streets, they’re good. the only problem with these brands is that sooner or later you’re going to bump into somebody with the same ones. enter, ndc. i picked up a pair of these at the steven alan sample sale a while ago and have to say they’re the best pair i’ve had and they do have women’s as well. they’re pricey but if you’re looking for something a little different…give them a try. otherwise, hit up j.crew.com.
