my dad plays the guitar and we were all kids he used to sing at birthday parties etc, all culminating in two rather embarrassing dedications at farmington high school talent shows for my brother and i. my song was obviously better. anyway, one of the tunes he used to strum was love potion no. 9. that song is killer, it’s so f-ing good i love it and still listen to it often. just this morning as i was bobbing my head along to the beat i thought, “why not style the gypsy?” so here we have madame rue, the gypsy who cooked up the famous love potion no. 9. whenever i think of gypsies i think of tambourines and dancing on a riverbank with lots of flowy clothes. if you think i’m stereotyping…congratulations, you’re right! enjoy.
