favorites of milan

1: ferragamo: i can’t even explain how much i identify with this collection. it’s the perfect combination of italian design with american sensibility. the colors, everything was awesome. ferragamo is definitely coming out of being a shoe only destination for me. must have that sweater.
2: c.p. company: similar to ferragamo, the styling of these pieces really got me. everything is so easy looking without being sloppy. if you haven’t guessed by now, i really like color in my wardrobe. i hate drab and dreary. c.p. company, i love you.
3: trussardi 1911: give me that coat, now. simple detailing really elevates clothes and there was plenty of elevation at this show. aside from this coat, there was a fringe-ish thing happening that perfectly straddled the line of don imus and pocahontas (make sense?). need it all.

burberry and missoni are also up there…tough call.
