spot check milan

versace: never been a fan of versace really, just can’t buy into that brand of european styling. not that i don’t appreciate it…i’d just be a fish out of water. also this was a dark collection, i hate dark…need some color. also, the less shiny my clothes are, the better.
zzegna: great silhouettes and cuts for sure, but still can’t get over the darkness and shininess…i do hope this doesn’t become common practice in the future
d+g: i actually like this collection very much, which is odd for me to say. i thought the pieces were well thought out and the fair isle sweaters were easily my favorites. it wasn’t brightly colored but there were enough muted tones to make me happy. the only thing i really hated was the styling on some of the looks, too many layers but whatever…all round good show.
mocler gamme bleu (not pictured): i hate moncler, i hate puff, i hate hate shine. but thom browne’s tromp l’eoieliioelieel (spelling?) red white and blue sweater jackets must get into my hands before i go skiing. yes. need. also one of the hats. http://www.gq.com/fashion-shows/complete/F2010MEN-MGBMEN?page=2
