i guess you could say becky sharp is the hero and villain of vanity fair (was a book before a magazine people).  she achieved everything she set out for in her life but only after manipulating and destroying the very world around her.  she went from being an orphan to a governess to marrying nobility to becoming an impoverished aristocrat to becoming (essentially) a whore then to escaping and finally back to near nobility (whatup british merchant fortunes).  i won’t get into the details but rest assured the story of becky sharp is intriguing.  she tempts the age old question of do the ends justify the means?  1: country governess: jacket by marni, dress by rachel comey, shoes by rag and bone, bag by yigal azrouel (mens)2: i’m really into the whole money thing: dress by nina ricci, coat by missoni, bag by louis vuitton3: i’m rich again!: coat by missoni, dress by rachel roy, tights and shoes by givenchy
