pippie longstocking had the life every child pretty much dreams of. a house all to herself, really good friends and an endless quest for adventure. what am i saying? she has the life children and adults dream of, lucker. anyway, when thinking of pippy longstocking (had she been grown up) one has to take into account how a child would develop their style on their own. certainly for many of us, we wore what was laid out for us on our beds or what came home in shopping bags before every school year. i myself had a bit more input than that in my clothes, duh. i imagine pippie’s style would be the conglomeration of attic finds, stowed away boxes all with a careless disregard for convention. adventure on, pippie.

As a girl who spent a majority of her Halloweens as a child dressed as Pippi, I concur.
