Hey you know that crazy spinster who wears the same clothes every day? That’s actually Miss Havisham from Great Expectations and it’s her wedding dress. Once jilted and swindled out of her fortune by the man she loved, she grew into a bitter old woman. She raised Estella to be distrustful of men and to manipulate them. When Pip, the protaginist, came into her midst, she had Estella test her tricks on him. She also only wore one shoe, which I probably could’ve photoshopped above but IDGAF.
