anastasia romanov is one of those personalities that has captivated us for so long.  it’s widely known that she was executed with the rest of her family, but none of us will really give up the myth.  the possibility that she was orphaned and living the life of an impoverished princess is so romantic to us and is hard to let go.  imagine her today, i think she’d be at one end of the spectrum between charlotte casiraghi and paris hilton (hint: she’s at the charlotte end).  anastasia would fit right in with her royal comrades, william, harry, and all those other ones that american magazines don’t care to mention.  her style would be young, vivacious, flirty and carefree…after all, what problems do royals really have.
