runaround sue is one of my favorite songs.  ever.  my dad used to play it on the guitar and when we were all kids we’d go nuts for it, much like the rest of america.  of course the meaning of this song is quite different for me now then when i was 4 or 5 years old.  sue is, well, a tramp.  she was definitely spoiled and drove every guy crazy, which basically means she could get away with murder.  her style would reflect this-flirty day dresses with a throwback to the 50’s and 60’s that tend to draw attention from the guys.  runaround sues are everywhere these days, and they’re even worse then back when dion wrote this song.
