What make's a garment vintage? because yesterday I found a really hot YSL male gray suit jacket in my attic it looked brand new, when my mom saw me wearing it she told me it was my dads when he was in his late 20s he's 69 yrs old now...
So can I officially say I have come across a treasure?
good question, if you’re talking time wise i say give it 30 or so years. no reason really i just can’t see calling something from 1980 vintage. somehow something from ‘79 would feel vintage to me. so your ysl would def. be vintage and you have come across quite a treasure. good for you.
that’s a tough one. i have a lot of friends that work in the industry and always look great but style extends way beyond clothes. i won’t name names because i don’t think that’s right. but across the board my most stylish friends are those who are completely carefree in what they wear and how they act. more often than not they have far more style than those trying to get in front of the sartorialist or street peeper or something. hope that answers your question, anonymous.
Do you need an intern? I'm a 20 year old ball of marketing/graphic design talent and sunshine looking for a work-home this summer.
i myself am just a 24 year old ball of marketing/graphic design and unfortunately i’m not looking for an intern but i’m flattered you asked. little known fact: interns run the world. i had way more power as a mysterious intern than i do as a full-time employee. true story.
it started as a marketing idea for a larger corporation that was panned. i believed it in it so i didn’t want to let it die and obviously other people dig it so egg on their face. blargh. the original idea comes from reading. whenever i read i form crazy intense images of the subjects in my head. such is the life of an art major i guess. anyway, the images needed home and BOOM.
